Dr. Scott Hansen Inducted as New Member of the Haile T. Debas Academy of Medical Educators

Leadership carries particular significance when its impact reaches both patients and the people preparing to care for them.

We congratulate Dr. Scott Hansen, Professor of Surgery and Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at University of California, San Francisco, on his induction into the Haile T. Debas Academy of Medical Educators.

Dr. Hansen also serves as Chief of Hand and Microvascular Surgery at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals and UCSF Medical Center. Across these leadership roles, he brings deep clinical knowledge and surgical perspective to the education and advancement of the next generation.

We are pleased to see his contributions to academic surgery recognized through membership in the Academy and look forward to celebrating him at the September 29th Celebration of New Members.
